Revenues Up in April
All eleven of Ohio’s gambling establishments experienced revenue gains over a year ago.
Horseshoe Cincinnati experienced the greatest increase among the casinos. Revenues of $17.5 million were a 10.1% increase over last year. Hollywood Toledo was up 8.9%, with revenues of $18.2 million. Horseshoe Cleveland generated the highest revenue with $19.1 million, a 4.6% increase over last year. Hollywood Columbus was up slightly over last year with revenues of $18.7 million (.3%).
Belterra Park generated the least revenues among the racinos but experienced the largest percentage increase over last year. Revenues of $7.1 million were up 28% over a year ago. Hollywood Mahoning ($9 million, 15.9%) and Hard Rock ($19.7 million, 14.3%) were the only other racinos to experience double digit increases over last year. Scioto Downs was up 5.6% ($13.1 million), Miami Valley Gaming up 9.8% ($11.7 million), Hollywood Dayton up 1.3% ($7.8 million) and the newly rebranded JACK Thistledown up 6.5% ($10.6 million).
