The Cleveland casino claims that 500,000 visitors have walked through their doors since the May 14 opening. Rock Ohio had projected five million visitors annually so they are well on their way.
Meanwhile, Scioto Downs raked in over $4 million in nine days, netting the lottery commission a cool $1.3 million.

Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Timothy Horton has dismissed the lawsuit brought by Ohio Roundtable last October, challenging the constitutionality of Ohio’s casinos and VLTs at the state’s horse racetracks. This most likely removes the last legal hurdle facing the opening of the Scioto Downs racino on Friday.
