It has been rumored that Dan Gilbert, founder of Jack Entertainment, is looking to get out of the casino business. Jack Entertainment owns the Jack Cleveland and Jack Cincinnati casinos in Ohio, as well as the Jack Thistledown racino. They also operate the Greektown Casino-Hotel in Detroit, have an ownership interest in Turfway Park in Kentucky and are an investor in Horseshoe Baltimore Casino.

Bloomberg is reporting that people close to the situation have indicated that Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse have been retained to represent Jack Entertainment in the sale process. Bloomberg goes on to say that Caesars Entertainment is a possible suitor. Jack Entertainment, meanwhile, has released a statement that the company does not “comment on rumors or speculation.”
