Senate Bill 316 has been introduced by Senators John Eklund and Sean O’Brien. The bill offers no detail on the whats or wheres, it simply states that this is a bill “to express the intent of the General Assembly to develop and enact legislation legalizing sports wagering.”

Feedback from interested parties will be solicited. O’Brien stated that they would look at legislation enacted in other states for ideas. He also hopes to have the specifics of the bill by September.
