Despite a lawsuit that is still pending in Franklin County over the legality of electronic raffle machines, the Ohio Lottery has begun installation of their ‘next generation’ machines at VFW posts and fraternal organizations. 670 machines have been distributed so far.  On October 6, the software was downloaded and visitors to VFW posts and fraternal organizations were permitted to start playing.
