The Hard Rock Rocksino will be renamed in 2019 after MGM takes over operation. No word on what the new name will be. In July, MGM purchased Hard Rock for $1 billion.

JACK Entertainment, which owns and operates two casinos and a racino in Ohio, has sold its Detroit Greektown casino for $1 billion. Penn National paid $300 million to run Greektown and VICI Properties, which has ties to Caesars Entertainment, paid $700 million for the real estate. The deal is expected to close sometime in 2019.

It has been speculated that JACK Entertainment will also eventually sell off its gambling interests in Ohio. When asked by a reporter from Cleveland.com, the company response was “JACK Entertainment is continuing a strategic assessment for its remaining gaming properties.”
