After an investigation by the Ohio Attorney General’s office, a grand jury in Hocking County has indicted Marshal Lucas (aka Dancing Elk) and Jennifer Vance on charges of illegal gambling. In March of 2014, a search warrant was executed on the Red Door Internet Café/Casino.

Charges against Lucas include:

• Seven charges of intentionally operating a casino gaming operation, a fifth-degree felony
• Eight counts of gambling, a first-degree misdemeanor
• Six charges of operating a gambling house, also a first-degree misdemeanor
• Three unclassified misdemeanors of keeping a place where beer or intoxicating liquors are sold

Vance was indicted on four charges of gambling, a first-degree misdemeanor.
