Wisconsin Company Admits Guilt

A Wisconsin distributor, 8 Line Supply, has pled guilty in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas to gambling related charges. The company had sold more than 23,000 illegal video slot machines to businesses throughout Ohio at an estimated cost of $2.7 million. In addition to the guilty plea, the company must surrender $35,000 in forfeited funds. The company, as well as its president, will be sentenced on March 12 and the company could face a fine. The president could be sentenced to anything from probation to three years in jail. Eight bars in Cuyahoga County, as well as five others in Medina, Ashtabula and Wayne counties were also convicted.
