Casino Revenues
December revenues at Ohio’s three casinos reversed earlier trends.
The Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland had seen revenues decline in every month since June, which was the first full month of operation. December revenues increased $4.1 million, a 20% increase from November.
The Hollywood Casino in Toledo had seen even more precipitous drops in revenue since June, also its first full month of operation. That trend reversed with December revenues increasing $600,000, a 4% uptick from November.
Meanwhile, the Hollywood Casino in Columbus saw revenues decline for the first time since it opened in October. December revenues declined $2.1 million, a 10% decrease from November.
The racino at Scioto Downs saw a slight increase in December revenues, rising $30,352, a less than 0.5% increase from November.
