Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine further clarified his position on the Ohio Lottery’s proposal to supply VFW posts and fraternal organizations with ‘next generation’ lottery machines. DeWine claims the proposal is unconstitutional because the proceeds for education are not enough. Under the Ohio Lottery proposal, for each $100,000 in wagers $1,375 would go to education. With existing lottery games, for each $100,000 in wagers $30,000 goes to education.
