Banks have joined the fight against sweepstakes cafes. At least five sweepstakes cafes in Cleveland have received notification from a major bank that their business checking accounts are being closed.

Café owners believe the banks are being pressured by prosecutors and the media. The Cuyahoga County prosecutor has denied these allegations.
