Despite having the fewest number of slots or VLTs of all Ohio casinos and racinos, Thistledown grossed the highest revenue in October, generating an average of $361 per day per machine. Horseshoe Cincinnati was next at $212, followed by Horseshoe Cleveland at $194, Hollywood Toledo at $185, Scioto Downs at $172 and Hollywood Columbus at $149. A director from the Center for Gaming Research says that $200 per day per machine is an acceptable minimum.
