JACK Cleveland has seen a 32% decline in December revenues over the past four years.\u00a0In 2012, the year the casino opened, revenue was $24.4 million. In 2016, revenue was $16.5 million.\u00a0In 2012, the casino was the only gambling establishment in northeast Ohio.\u00a0Today, three racinos are also in the area.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the state\u2019s seven racinos experienced healthy increases over the year.\u00a0Statewide, revenues were up 7% over 2015.\u00a0Hard Rock Northfield Park saw the greatest increase ($225.1 million, up 16.9%).\u00a0Close behind was Belterra Park ($78 million, up 16.4%).\u00a0JACK Thistledown had revenue of $113.5 million, a 14.6% increase over a year ago.\u00a0Miami Valley Gaming\u2019s revenue of $137.4 million was up 11.1%, Hollywood Mahoning ($99.9 million) was up 8.4%, Scioto Downs ($149.8 million) was up 7% and Hollywood Dayton ($89.7 million) was up 4.4%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
