The previous high was $135.4 million last December. But casino revenues were down from a year ago. The sharpest decline was Horseshoe Cincinnati. Revenues of $17.5 million represented a 13.2 percent drop over last March. Hollywood Columbus experienced an 11.8 percent drop with revenues of $18.3 million. However the $20.4 million in revenues that Hollywood Columbus experienced in March 2014 represents the highest monthly total since the casino opened. Horseshoe Cleveland revenues of $19.8 million were a 7 percent decline over last year. Hollywood Toledo&#8217;s revenue was nearly steady at $17.3 million, only .6 percent less than March 2014&#8217;s $17.4 million. Overall, monthly casino revenues were down 8.4 percent from a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>The four racinos that were open at this time last year split. Hard Rock had the largest increase with revenues of $18.5 million, a 16.5 percent increase over last year. Scioto Downs was the only other racino showing an increase. The $13.1 million in revenue was a 2.5 percent increase. Thistledown declined 6.7 percent to 9.9 million, and Miami Valley Gaming declined 5.9 percent to $10.9 million. Revenues for the state&#8217;s seven racinos totaled $72.7 million, compared to the $72.9 million generated by the four casinos.
