October Revenues Up Slightly

All four casinos had increased revenues from a year ago. Horseshoe Cincinnati led the way.  Revenues of $16 million represented a 15% increase over last year. Hollywood Toledo ($15.6 million) was up 2% and Horseshoe Cleveland ($17.9 million) was up 4%. Hollywood Columbus at $17.2 million was about the same as last year, a .1% increase.

Five of the seven racinos showed revenue increases over last year. Belterra Park showed the biggest increase, 44% to $6.07 million. Hard Rock Rocksino had the largest revenue of the month.  The $17.35 million represented a 12% increase over last October. Miami Valley ($10.5 million) was up 8.5%, Hollywood Dayton ($7.18 million) up 7% and Scioto Downs ($11.76 million) up 2%.  Thistledown ($9.18 million) and Mahoning Valley ($7.92 million) both experienced 8% declines in revenue over last year.

In year-to-date revenues, Hollywood Toledo is the only casino that has generated more revenue this year than last. Hollywood Columbus is even with last year. Horseshoe Cincinnati and Horseshoe Cleveland are down slightly.
